Bosch distributor cap to suit Ford Crossflow OHV Kent engines.
Our high quality Bosch distributor caps are designed to match up to our Scorcher Points style and Electronic ignition distributors.
We use this brand of cap compared to others primarily because they provide a low level of indexing play to ensure spark timing is always consistent and not vulnerable to harmonic movement back and forth against the indexing slot.
These suit larger bodied distributors and will not fit the standard Lucas distributor.
When functioning normally, we have not seen any “spark scatter” on our race engines using these distributor caps, however we find many other types and brands commonly have this issue.
