These are high quality collets (also known as "cotters") designed to work in harmony with our FFI valves, and feature a taper style lock for rock solid retention of the standard Ford retainer.
These collets are the same for both inlet and exhaust valves. We usually replace both collets and retainers at the same time you replace your valve springs to ensure an overused item won’t fail and ruin a fresh engine.
These collets are sold as a pair - a Kent engine will take 8 pairs for the 8 valves (4 inlet valves and 4 exhaust valves).
