We have tested these bolts to engine speeds of over 9,000RPM in a racing environment without failure which is at the operating limits of the standard cast aluminium Ford Kent rocker gear.
A broken rocker bolt can be almost instantly catastrophic for a race engine and just as damaging on a performance road car engine.
For Formula Ford use, at RPM peaks of 7,000RPM, these bolts are ultra reliable and well within their load limits.
