Varley Red Top 15 (VRT-15)
The Varley Red Top 15 is usually used in applications such as Formula 2, A1GP, Caterhams, Sports 2000 Duratec, Formula Vee, Formula Ford 1600 (kent), Formula Ford 2000 (pinto), Duratec Formula Ford, Formula BMW, Formula Masters, Formula Renault and Lotus Elise club cars.
The Varley Red Top 15 (VRT-15) is a lightweight, reliable and compact solution for small capacity engines running an alternator. We have found this battery can be used for "constant loss" (no alternator) small capacity engines with simple points ignition systems and mechanical fuel systems.
This battery is a 12 volt battery with low profile M6 female terminal threads.
It features a maximum torque output of 5.6Nm.
The VRT-15 has a 15Ah capacity.

This battery can be mounted in any direction. We recommend soft mounting this battery, however Varley Red Tops are known for fantastic resilience against harmonic frequency and harsh vibrations.
Maintenance free sealed construction finished with a gloss black finish. No fluid replacement is required (often known as topping up).
